The Hand Specialist is Ramon Tahmassebi, a consultant orthopaedic private hand surgeon who specialises in treating the hand and wrist and upper limb. He has been a consultant since 2012, working in both the NHS and private practice.

His NHS practice is based at King’s College Hospital – one of London’s largest and busiest teaching hospitals and hub for complex orthopaedic surgery. King’s is also one of London’s major trauma centres where Ramon is involved in treating the some of the capital’s most seriously injured people. This has allowed him to build up a wealth of experience in treating badly injured hands, wrists and elbows.

Ramon’s private hand surgery practice is based at the Cleveland Clinic London Outpatient Centre and the Cleveland Clinic London Hospital – a collaboration of some of the UK’s leading musculoskeletal specialists at the forefront of orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine and radiology. He’s equally happy treating common conditions as well as the rare, unusual or complex. Part of his practice also includes treating professional and elite level athletes across a wide range of sports

He sees private patients in The City, West End and Canary Wharf. For a list of locations and details on how to book an appointment, click below.
